Pearpoint was the name of a man in England.

Pearpoint was the name of a man in England.

What was his job?

He was an executioner and from 1933 until he retired in 1955 he hung 608 people.

It is hard to believe any one would take a job like that.

It is no wonder that today we put such low value on human life but with every action there is a reaction.

In Luke 22: 31-32. “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat.  But I have prayed for you, Simon that your faith may not fail.  And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”
( NIV note) sift you,-Satan wanted to test the disciples, hoping to bring them to spiritual ruin.

The reason I used the example above, about a man named Pearpoint, and what he represented with his profession, and the scripture about Peter, was that I was reminded yesterday when I was reading in Luke that Jesus was telling Peter something very important. This world and our world leaders could get the lesson from the fact that our leaders are turning Americas back on Israel, and unborn babies, and being sifted like wheat. We need to understand that the part of this scripture I am using is saying that if we are not careful; and the fact that this world has put such little value on human life, that Satan has already sifted our leaders like wheat.

To sift means to pass through a sieve in order to separate the fine parts from the coarse, and distinguish facts from fiction.

We no longer examine things carefully enough. We just look for the way of the world and not the way of God.

The way of God says life is precious. The abortion clinics says it not human just a thing to kill.

We compromise because it’s the easy way out. And so Jesus said to Peter, I have prayed for you, that your faith might not fail.

Can you right now look around you and see so many things we need to be praying about in these end times

What the man Pearpoint did was legal and many of our killing laws are legal, but would our God make laws like abortions legal?

Would He tell our leaders killing of the Jews is legal because man has put such little value on life and killing of the innocent is ok if the leaders of our world say so?

If God tells us how to live and follow Christ, than why aren’t we hearing more teaching about such things?

Wasn’t Jesus telling Peter to turn back and for him to strengthen his brothers? And would you not say this world needs to turn back and began to lead lives and actions such as God would have us do?

Perhaps something I have written, makes no sense to you but read it and think  about how and where we are going.

I can tell you we are going faster and faster to the end time for the Church and there is precious little time to tell it like it is.

If you agree say Amen and lets all pray for our world. Remember Jesus said in (John3: 16.  For God so loved the world that He God gave His only Son Jesus that whoever believes in Him in shall not perish but have eternal life.)

That’s it; God said it; and I for one believe it.

Pastor John Irvin old and retired and sometimes thinks and tries to explain things and maybe I have or maybe not?

You can decide. But don’t tell me.  OK?
